Olive Young Global vs US vs Korea: Which to Use in 2026?
Since May 2026, "Olive Young" online means three different stores: Olive Young Global, Olive Young US and Olive Young Korea. Friends abroad keep asking me which one they are supposed to use, and whether Olive Young Global vs US is a real price difference or just a new logo. So on October 5, 2026, I opened all three side by side, checked where each one ships, and priced the same seven products in each.
If you live in the US, use Olive Young US: Olive Young Global no longer ships to the 50 states and D.C. Everywhere else, use Olive Young Global and aim for its US$60 free-shipping line. If you are visiting Seoul, buy in the store: in my check, Olive Young Korea was the cheapest for five of the six products sold in all three stores, and 20% to 46% below the US site on all six.

Olive Young US also has a real store: the first one opened at 58 W Colorado Blvd in Pasadena, California, on May 29, 2026, the same day the US website launched.
2Does Olive Young Global ship to the US?
No. The United States is no longer on Global's shipping list.
When Olive Young US launched on May 29, 2026, Olive Young Global stopped serving US addresses and started pointing US shoppers to the new site. I checked Global's own location picker on October 5, 2026: the list jumps from "United Arab Emirates" straight to "Uruguay". There is no United States.
One detail I didn't expect: Guam, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands still appear in Global's list. Olive Young US, on the other hand, says it doesn't ship to US territories, PO boxes or military addresses. If you live in a US territory, Global is the one to try.
From the brand side, selling inside the US is a different job from shipping parcels from Seoul. Under MoCRA, the US cosmetics law that took full effect in 2024, every brand has to register its factories and list each product with the FDA, and the label needs a US contact for problem reports. Sunscreens are stricter still: in the US they count as over-the-counter drugs. That's a lot of paperwork per product, which is why some Korean sunscreens and smaller brands you used to see on Global aren't on the US site yet. The upside of a US warehouse is that duty is handled once, in bulk, instead of on every parcel.
3Olive Young Global vs US vs Korea prices
Korea is usually cheapest. Global often beats US before shipping.
I priced seven bestsellers on October 5, 2026. Korean prices come from Olive Young Korea's online store, which matched the shelf prices when I checked a store near Isu Station the same day. Global prices were shown in US dollars. Several Global and Korean listings are sets with a small extra (a mini, a refill or pads), noted in the table.

Three things stood out:
- Korea was the cheapest for five of the six products sold in all three stores, and 20% to 46% below Olive Young US on all six. The exception was the Dr.Althea cream, which wasn't on sale in Korea that day: $21.59 in Korea against $20.52 on Global's sale (with two minis).
- Global's sale prices were lower than the US site's on all six, but Global's regular prices were mostly higher. Global relies on deeper discounts, and you still pay shipping under US$60 plus any import tax in your country.
- It isn't always one direction. The AESTURA cream was $28.49 on Olive Young US and $44.00 on Global, over 50% more.
Don't use a forwarding service to get Global prices delivered to a US address. The small savings on the sale price disappear once you add international shipping, the forwarder's fee and US import duty.
4Shipping, duties and returns compared
US is faster and simpler. Global is wider.
Olive Young US ships from California. Standard shipping is $6.95, or free on orders of $35 or more. Orders leave in 1 to 2 business days and arrive within about 5 business days in the lower 48 states. Online orders can be returned within 30 days, and its O.Y MEMBERS program runs a Members' Week at the start of each month (October 1 to 7 this month).
Olive Young Global ships from Korea by DHL, FedEx, UPS, LX Pantos or EMS. Shipping is free from US$60 in most countries (US$35 for Taiwan, ¥3,900 for Japan). Olive Young lists delivery at about 4 to 5 days for the UK and Australia and 5 to 7 days for Canada. Its prices don't include taxes or duties: in the UK, EU, Australia and a few other places tax is added at checkout, and in Canada it can be collected on delivery.
From Korea to the US by other routes (a Korean seller, a forwarder): the US no longer lets small parcels in duty-free, so expect import duty and possibly a carrier fee on top.
On Global, build your cart to just over US$60 and check the total after tax before you pay. A cheap sheet-mask pack is the easiest way to cross the free-shipping line.
5Can you buy from Olive Young Korea from abroad?
Not really. Korea's online store is built for people living in Korea.
Olive Young Korea's website and app deliver only inside Korea, and you need a Korean mobile number to sign up and verify your account. Its same-day delivery, Today Dream (오늘드림), only works for Korean addresses. In practice, the Korean prices in this post are for people who walk into a store in Korea.
If that's you, you get two extras. First, shelf prices include 10% VAT, and tourists can get part of it back on purchases of ₩15,000 or more on one receipt at participating stores. Final thoughts
The choice comes down to where your parcel goes. In the US, Olive Young US is now the only official option, and it's simple and quick. Yes. In my check, Korea's prices were 20% to 46% lower than Olive Young US for six products sold in both, before any tax refund.
Do Olive Young Global points carry over to Olive Young US?
Olive Young told Korean media in June 2026 that US members' Global purchase history and points can carry over to the US program with their consent. Check your account on the US site.
